New digi stamps today!

Poor Lily and Billy are feeling under the weather. I'm sure many of you can relate to this as it seems that everyone I know is either sick or has a sick kiddie.

Lily & Billy are on their way to recovery so no worries. Relaxing in their favourtie chairs and watching TV with their furry friends helps to pass the time as they get better.

You can find the new digi stamps here.

Here are some of the gorgeous cards that the DT ladies have created. There are more cards on the website and on the DT blogs so please check them out.

New rubber stamp sets today!

It's been a while since I've released new rubber but today I have a new style of product to share with you. I've created new small sized stamps sets! Each set has 3 stamps which include a large Lily stamp, a small coordinating stamp and a sentiment.
The theme is Lily in Winter and the first set is Lily as a snowflake fairy.

The second set is Lily drinking hot cocoa. There is a cute coordinating stamp of a little bird pecking at the marshmallows in the cup of cocoa.

The final set for this release is Lily in her winter coat. She has a cutie pie coordinating bird dressed in a hat and scarf.

The price for each stamp set is $7.99 CAN. You can purchase all 3 for a discounted price of $19.97, you save $4.00. Here is a link to where you can purchase these new sets.

Here are some of the gorgeous cards that the DT ladies have created. Just click on the image to enlarge it.

Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Memorial Fundraiser, New Digis & Contest Winners

This week has been a very sad one as DT member Sarah Anderson’s 3 year old son Henry passed away. Little Henry was unable to overcome a virus that made him ill last week. The rubber and digi DT members and I want to let Sarah know that she and her family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Lorie Ames has organized a way to donate for a memorial for Henry. Henry loved his local zoo and visited it almost every day in the summer. As a memorial, trees will be planted there in his honor. I’ve created a digital stamp to help raise funds for a tree for Henry.

All proceeds from the sale of the digi stamp, minus Paypal costs, will go towards the tree. If you would like to donate, please visit this webpage to purchase the digi stamp.
Another way to donate to the memorial is to print out this form and mail in your donation directly. Please write on the form that the donation is for Sarah Anderson’s son Henry. When all of the money is collected, a tree and location will be selected. If you have questions about the form please contact Lorie Ames. Lorie will be in contact with Sarah along this memorial journey to ensure that her wishes are followed.
To contact Lorie, please visit her blog at http://www.live-love-laugh-create.blogspot.com/
If you don’t know Sarah and would like to learn more about her, please visit her blog: http://scrampinmama.blogspot.com/
Thank you for your help to raise money for a tree for Henry.

Ten new digis and the Digi Ideas Contest Winners

I was feelin' the groove this week and couldn't stop drawing. So I have 10 new digis to share with you today!

Thanks to everyone who has entered the Digi Ideas Contest! I've had so much fun reading through your suggestions and picking out some to turn into digis. This week we had several ladies suggest that I make some Hanukkah digis. I thought that was a fantastic idea and couldn't wait to get started. Shari Carter and Anita Autore are the contest winners for this week and have both made cards with some of the new Hanukkah stamps. Their cards are posted just below the DT cards.

Thanks so much to my fabulous design team! I think they've outdone themselves yet again!

card by Inge Groot
This digi is called Lily Hot Cocoa. I've been planning to draw this for weeks and finally put pen to paper. Check out the Billy version below.

card by Tori Hemingway

card by MacKenzie Bruckler
This digi is called Lily Candy Elf. This one was so fun to draw. I love her long hat!

Candy Cane Trio - I imagined these cuties as Elf Lily's candy bird soldiers.
Sorry there isn't a card to show you, this design was kinda last minute.

card by Kerry Donovan-Casey
This is Hanukkah Lily. Isn't she adorable playing with her dreidel?

card by Jodi Ann Lee
And here's Hanukkah Billy holding his dreidel and menorah.

card by Tracey Cuccia
I drew a lot of cute birds this week. Here is a bird family menorah.

card by MacKenzie Bruckler
We just had to have an owl so here's Squirt playing with a dreidel.

card by Suzanne Dean
Here is a simple but pretty design. I tend to get pretty illustrative with my artwork so it was nice to draw something a little different.

Crafty Birds Menorah
I just had to do one more with some birdies so here is a last minute cute and crafty menorah. In case you were wondering, the birds made it themselves.

Digi DT Bio Betty Contest

We’re starting a fun contest today! I asked each Digi DT member to create a Betty that tells us a bit about herself. Can you figure out who created each Betty? If so then you could win some free digi stamps!!

To see a larger version of this image, click here.

To enter the contest, leave a comment in this post with your guesses for who each Betty belongs to. Write the numbers 1 to 11 and put the name of the DT member who you think corresponds to each numbered image. For example, #1 is the top left image of Betty with the cowgirl hat and the music notes in the background. If you think that Maria made this Betty then you would write:
1. Maria
Then continue to do the same thing for each numbered image.

For example:
2. Tracey
3. Alicia
and so on …

To help you learn more about each DT member you can visit this page to read their bios: http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/Digital/DesignTeam.htm

The contest will end on Monday Nov. 2nd at 5 pm EST and the winners will be announced on the blog on Tuesday. The first person to get all 11 correct will be the main winner of the contest and she will receive 5 free digi stamps of her choice. A runner up winner will be chosen by random draw of everyone who enters the contest. So even if you don’t get them all correct you still have a chance to win a prize. The runner up will win 3 free digi stamps of her choice.

Remember that you have to post your entry in the comments section of this blog post, please do not email it to me.

Here are the DT member names for your reference:
Alicia Weiman
Emily Leiphart
Inge Groot
Kerry Donovan-Casey
Kristen Catalano
MacKenzie Bruckler
Maria Bell
Suzanne J. Dean
Tori Hemmingway
Tracey Cuccia

Good luck and I hope you have fun with this contest!!

New digi stamps, a contest and tutorials!

I'm so excited to show you three new digi stamps today! Some of you have been asking for Lily digis so I got started on them right away. Today we have Lily dressed in her very fashionable and cozy winter coat and accessories. As you may remember from the rubber stamps, Lily loves birds so I had to include one holding onto her scarf and then also an embroidered bird on her hat.

Tori Hemingway

Next we have Lily as the Snowflake Fairy. Ever looked up when it's snowing and wonder where those lovely little flakes come from?? Well, now you know! Lily sprinkles them from her wand :)

Jodi Ann Lee

And last but not least we have Santa Owl bringing presents for the cutie pie owlets who are fast asleep in their tree. I fell in love with the idea that the owlets Christmas tree is also their home and couldn't wait to draw this design.

Emily Leiphart

Click here to visit the Digi Store when you can purchase these fun new digi stamps!
There are many more fabulous cards that the DT ladies have created a bit further down in this post so please have a look.

If you haven't tried digi stamping yet would you like to try if for free?
I've created both video and written tutorials to show you how easy it is to create with digi stamps. I include a free digi stamp that you can download and try for free so if you would like to give it a try click here to go to the tutorial page.

I'm starting a fun contest today. Scroll down to the end of this post for details!

It's time for a fun new contest!!
We'll call this one the 'Digi Ideas Contest'.

To enter the contest, leave a comment in this post and suggest an idea for a new digi stamp. Each week I will select an idea and turn it into a digi stamp. The person who made the suggestion will receive the new digi for free in advance of the release and will be invited to create a card with it to be displayed on this blog during the new release. Sound like fun?!?

Here are the rules:
You can enter the contest as many times as you like. You can write several ideas in your comment or just one. And you can come back later and leave another comment if you have another idea.
Now there may be some repeated ideas so if that happens and I decide to use that idea then the first person who suggested it will be the contest winner and receive the stamp for free.

Be sure to leave some kind of contact info in your comment so if your idea is chosen then I will be able to contact you. A link to your blog will suffice or your email address.

There is no deadline for this contest but I reserve the right to end the contest at my discretion. We'll try it out for a few weeks and if it works out well, then maybe we can have this as an ongoing contest.

I look forward to hearing your ideas! I think this will be a lot of fun!
Have a great day!

New digi stamps today!!

I have 9 super fun new digi stamps to share with you today! I went a little owl crazy last week and just couldn't stop drawing. I hope you like them!
I also created an image of Itty Bitty Bobby in a dinosaur costume. Michelle Buschur requested this and I couldn't resist drawing him. Thanks for the suggestion Michelle!

You'll notice that the owls all have stitching around their eyes and on their wings and tummies. I was making an owl softie last week for my Mom for her birthday and that is what gave me the idea to add the stitching to these owl designs. I think it makes them look cute and crafty. FYI, a softie is a hand made stuffed toy.

Here are some of the adorable cards that the Digi DT have created. There are even more cards on the website and on the DT member blogs so please check them out.

Inge Groot
Isn't dino Bobby just the cutest. Even those sharp teeth are somehow cute, LOL!

Suzanne Dean
Here we have Squirt and Cuddles. I love that Suzanne made a baby card with Cuddles. These owls are so versatile and can be used for almost any card theme.

Vicki Garrett
Now this was my favourite stamp to draw. There is nothing more fun then owls dressed as clowns. And these little guys are so talented!

MacKenzie Bruckler
Squirt and Hootie Pie have decorated their favourite tree stump for Christmas. You should see what they did with the rest of the forest.

Tori Hemingway
Hootie Pie is the self proclaimed leader of the owl gang so he got to play Santa this year.

MacKenzie Bruckler
I drew Hootie Pie as a clown before I created the unicycle design. After I drew this guy I knew I just had to put the other owls in clown costumes.

Maria Bell
Here's Patches on her tree branch.

Vicki Garrett
I love this wall hanging that Vicki created. What a great idea for a little boy's room.
