It's so much fun reading the names that you come up with for our new stamp characters so I had to run this contest again. This sweet little owl is featured on one of our new stamps plates that will be released on Thursday June 12th. To enter the contest, leave a comment on this post with your suggestion for a name. Try to pick a unisex name that would work for both a male and female owl.
Everyone who leaves a comment will be entered into a draw to win one set of the new owl stamps. This contest will end on Sunday June 8th at 5 pm EST and the winner will be announced on Thursday June 12th during the new release day. Good luck and thanks for playing!!
We will also be releasing the Dress Up Billy stamps on June 12th so come back during our sneak peek week starting on Monday June 9th to see all of the fabulous cards our Design Team girls have made using the new stamps. There will also be another contest during the sneak peek week so don't miss out!
Happy Stamping!
Melissa

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 306 Newer› Newest»Aww, love the new character!! How about Hoot the owl??
Can't wait for the new release. That Dress-up Billy set is going into my cart first thing!
For the owl, how about Skyler since he flies through the sky. I've heard it used as both a boy's and girl's name.
Lowell Owl
My suggestion for the owl is: Sammy!
I think he'd be cute if named "Winglebert" or "Owlbert" or "Owlice".
Suzanne Dean
I like Oliver! or Owliver! Owliver Hoot!
I love owls how about calling him/her "Hootie Cutie"?
what about Hooty? Or maybe Einstein (because owls are portrayed as a wise animal) or perhaps Smarty Marty. Whatever the name will be it is C U T E !!!!
Hooligan or Whoo-ligan
I love these contests!
I choose... Ollie :)
What a cute looking owl!! I have a fondness for owls too! How about Shelby the Owl?? Has a nice ring to it don't you think? :D
Can't wait for your upcoming releases! I just got Lily in the mail the other day and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!
YAY! I love owls!
How about Otis or Orly?
Ooohh too cute!!
I like Rowan the owl!
How about Feathers
This is one of the best owls out there. And there are MANY -- so this is a real compliment!
I like Henry the Hoot Owl.
Ok when I saw this little owl you know what came to mind. The Tootie Pop commerial.. LOL so how about Toots! lol :)
-Ellie
"hootie cutie" as said by stampgoddes is w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l
My try is: "Owly Whooly"
Kyky
Norbert the Night Owl
My name ideas:
Bijou
Q.T. Hoot (get it? Cutie-hoot!)
Berry
Peanut
Very cute! Can't wait for the next release!
-Gwen in Vermont
Casey the cutie, hootie owl!
I like him a ton!
I like owlie for a name.
Oh I love all of these suggestions!! So fun and creative!!
I think the cutest unisex name that I can come up with is 'Shannon' .... lol ... ok I was thinking Sammy was cute and more appropriate.
The first name that popped in my head was Hootie! Somebody ele said hooty, but hey...that makes 2 votes for Hootie...LOL!
I am not very clever with names, but how about Owlee ?
I know it's already been mentioned, but the first name that popped into my heat was "Hootie" also. I love your cute stamps!!!
Sheila A
Howly!!!!
Not exactly a unisex name but when I saw him my first thought was "Chester".
I think you should keep it simple; I like WHOO-TEE, patootie.
Betty-Ann
I'm with Hootie or how about Max - both are def unisex!!! Can't wait to see dress up Billy along with the new owls!!!
what is the most famous owl?
A T,towel,lol
my name i came up with was Ainsley owl

Oops, my last post seems to have dissapeared somewhere. One of our most common owls here in Australia is the Southern Boobook owl or Mopoke as it is more commomly known, so they are my name choices, Boobook or Mopoke. I love the idea of a dress up Billy. With four sons I get a lot of use out of my last Billy set.
Cheers.
I was gonna say Hootie, but I noticed that it's already been taken, so I'm gonna say.....Roger
but seriously...Hootie is really cute!

I have taken my time thinking about this one. I just went a googled owls to try and figure something out. I came across the name of a type of owl and thought it cute. Although I do have to admit I love Hooty, but the name I found was Tawny. I am not sure if that can really be a unisex name but like it just because it IS the name of an owl. I can't wait for the new release. I am so excited to see the rest of the owls AND of course, Dress up Billy.
Seriously cute! My kids decided that "Wilbur" would be a good name.
If the owl is going to be doing party stuff, maybe "Confetti" could work...

My first thought was also Tootsie from the Tootsie Pop commercials, but since that has already been said, my second thought was Alex...cause it can be unisex. Or you can do a play on the spelling and call it Owlex!
How about Hoolio (like Julio in Spanish)...?
I see Hootie has already been mentioned a *few* times (lol), but I still really like it. My other suggestion is WooHoo.
My suggestion is Wol, a play on the spelling of owl. This was taken from an owl in the book Owls in the Attic, a funny book I read many years ago. Joan E.
"Toot" is the first thing that came to mind.
"Simon Owl" is the next one.
It's almost 2a and I'm feeling a bit punchy. I was thinking of American Idol and Simon Cowell.

This is one of the cutest owl stamps I have seen yet!
Kinda far-fetched, but how about "Party Anim-owl" since he/she has on a party hat?!
Also, just plain "Hoots" comes to mind.
